Sport Horse MARKETPLACE is a full color magazine, printed on glossy paper with excellent print quality: 300 dpi. It is 8.5" x 11" finished size, stitched (stapled).

Frequency. Sport Horse MARKETPLACE is quarterly, mailed to reach readers before the first of January, April, July, and October.

Circulation. Each issue of Sport Horse MARKETPLACE is currently reaching 20,000 people, with our total annual distribution reaching about 35,000 unique individuals. Pass-along distribution increases this number to well over 200,000. Sport Horse MARKETPLACE is sent free by direct mail to a well-targeted audience of sport horse enthusiasts.

Unlike typical free publications, Sport Horse MARKETPLACE is eagerly read, with 99% reporting that they "usually or always" read it.

Several thousand additional copies of Sport Horse MARKETPLACE are also distributed throughout the year at select sport horse events.

Image Resolution: photos should be 300 dpi; line art should be 1200 dpi (600 dpi minimum) to look good. Lower resolution will print, but it will not be as sharp.

Bleed size: 9" x 11.5"
Bleed size for outside front or back cover ad: 9" wide x 8.25" tall. Yes, this is wider than it is tall. The cover ads are 3/4 page size, and they only bleed on the bottom and sides, making an odd bleed size.

Deadlines. To reserve a space for your ad, please contact us by the ad reservation deadline (see Ad Deadlines). If you miss the deadline, call anyway - we might be able to squeeze you in.

We can design your ad. If you would like us to design your ad (see Ad Design Fees for cost), please send us your materials (please read Help Submitting Ads) by the ad deadline and we'll take it from there.

Getting your ad to us: We prefer email, and can also accept CDs by mail. We can accept ads sent by FTP, and prefer that for very large files; we have very successfully used an FTP transfer site called YouSendIt.com, which is free and has very clear directions. If you use YouSendIt, please send a separate email to let us know to expect a file.
